Leader Profile: Professor Jiang Shuyun, School of Mechanical Engineering, Southeast University, serving as a Doctoral Advisor. Jiang won the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Program and the Jiangsu Province's 'Six Major Talent Peaks' Project (Category A). He concurrently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Mechanical Dynamics Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, the Vice Chairman of the Rotor Dynamics Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering, a Council Member of the National Association for Manufacturing Technology and Machine Tool Research among Universities, and a Council Member of the Tribology Committee of the Chinese Society for Mechanical Engineering.
Research Interests: 1) High-speed Precision Motorized Spindle: include rotor dynamics of motorized spindle, lubrication theory and bearing technology, as well as intelligentization technology for spindle. 2) Structural Design of High-speed Machine Tool: include digital design (CAD) of machine tool structure, dynamic analysis (CAE) and thermal analysis (CAE) of machine tool structure under operating condition. 3) High-speed Rotating Machinery: include rotor dynamic issues in aerospace power equipment, air compressor, and flywheel energy storage system for electric power, among others.
Projects undertaken: Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National 863 Program Project, Major Special Project of the National Science and Technology Program, Theme of the National Science and Technology Support Program, and Major Project of Technological Innovation and Industrialization in Jiangsu Province, among others.
Research Achievements: Over 100 SCI-indexed papers have been published in internationally prestigious journals such as Transactions of ASME, receiving extensive citation and positive reviews from domestic and international scholars, leading to consecutive inclusion in Elsevier's list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers. Moreover, over 70 national invention patents have been granted, and significant awards have been led, including one First Prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award (2016), one Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress awarded by the Ministry of Education (2009), and another one Second Prize for Technological Invention also bestowed by the Ministry of Education (2014).
Laboratory Standing: This research institute has undertaken more than 10 major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key tasks within national major science and technology initiatives, representing a domestic leading level.
